Governamental site 2
The main idea of this project was to create an online system for a county (a governmental site).
For a not logged in user, the site was a simple presentation. Once the user is logged in, more options appear in site like profiles, jobs for logged in users, events, news and other content.
There was also a blog, where a user could get into a group, public or private (needs approval), could post topics and comments. It also integrated social sites like twitter and facebook. The site also gives the option to subscribe to jobs, events or to a newsletter (quite a lot of custom newsletters). Every announcement that was created, had to be sent also to the govern.
For this project I worked together with another Drupal Developer and a Frontend Developer.
I was the Team Lead of this project. I had to create Jira tickets based on the requirements and divide them between the developers on this project. I worked both on backend functionality and also on part if the integration of the front theme.
Drupal 7 core version was used for this project. I had to create multiple custom modules to override the default functionality of Drupal, to achieve the needed behaviour. I also had to create a custom module so that each announcement created could be sent to the govern.
This site had a lot of custom newsletters to which users could subscribe. It also had social media integration.
I was involved in weekly scrums meetings via Skype and I was the Scrum Lead. Also I had direct contact with the final client, in case I had questions about the way they will like specific tasks implemented.
The QA was made by the client.
